Prof. Martin J. Leahy is Scientific Director with the National Biophotonics and Imaging Platform Ireland (NBIPI). He currently holds the Chair of Applied Physics at the National University of Ireland Galway and was recently promoted to fellowship of SPIE and of the Institute of Physics for his significant service to society and the greater science community, as well as for the recognition of his noteworthy technical achievements.
Dr. Marie-Louise O’Connell is a Postdoctoral Researcher with the National Biophotonics and Imaging Platform Ireland (NBIPI). Her work focuses on the development and characterisation of sate-of-the-art spectroscopic and imaging techniques with direct clinical and biomedical applications.
