Dr José María Gutiérrez (Madrid, 1967) (PhD in English Philology, University of Alcalá de Henares; Bachelor of Arts in Classical Philology - Complutense University, Madrid - ) is assistant teacher in the Department of Languages at San Antonio Catholic University of Murcia. He has published several articles in Selim (Journal of the Spanish Society for Medieval English Language and Literature), Estudios Clásicos (Journal of the Spanish Society for Classical Studies) and contributions in numerous conferences regarding Ancient Greek and Latin tradition in medieval English and contemporary British and American literature. He is currently preparing a book on the Trojan Cycle in Geoffrey Chaucer’s works.
