E. Ike Udogu is a Faculty Fellow and Professor of African, Comparative and International Politics in the Department of Government and Justice Studies at Appalachian State University, Boone, North Carolina, USA.

Alfred Zack-Williams is Professor of Sociology at UCLAN and has published extensively in the area of the political economy of Africa and the African Diaspora. He was President of the African Studies Association of the United Kingdom, 2006-2008 and a member of the EWG of the Review of African Political Economy.

George Klay Kieh Jr. is Professor of Political Science and African Studies at Grand Valley State University and Senior Research Fellow in the Program in Ethnic and Federal Studies at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria.

John Mukum Mbaku is Willard L. Eccles Professor of Economics and John S. Hinckley Fellow at Weber State University, Ogden, Utah (USA), and associate editor (Africa), Journal of Third World Studies. He is also president of the African Educational Foundation for Public Policy and Market Process. He has previously taught at the University of Georgia and Kennesaw State University.

Denise Pearson is professor at the Institute for Conflict Resolution, University of Denver, Denver, Colorado, School of Professional Studies and Continuing Education. She is also Assistant Dean of Academics and Director of Alternative Dispute Resolution Program.

Isabel Jiménez-Lucena is at the University of Malaga (Spain) and is a specialist in Health, Class, Gender and Ethnicity in North Africa.
