The articles in this collection analyse methodological aspects of today’s hard sciences and humanities and of applied research in the field of high technology. Katarzyna Leszczynska teaches sociology and social anthropology at AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, Poland. Her scholarly interests focus on religion, gender and social aspects of technology.

Janusz Mucha teaches sociology and social anthropology at the same university. His is interested in sociological and anthropological theory, minority issues,

Central and Eastern Europe and technoligical rationality.
